
Mr. Cross is a 20-year veteran in the executive compensation consulting business and has successfully built his practice by providing comprehensive independent and innovative solutions to compensation committees and executives in all major industries. Most recently, he served eight years as market leader of executive compensation for Mercer Human Resources Consulting’s Houston, Texas office. Previously, Cross was a member of KPMG’s performance and compensation management practice and partner-in-charge of KPMG’s Southwest Region., with offices in Houston, Dallas, and Denver.
Mr. Cross has authored numerous articles for national and international publications pertaining to compensation and performance management issues such as long-term incentive strategies and legislative topics, in addition to being quoted in a number of publications on the subject of executive compensation. He is a frequently requested speaker on current compensation topics and has taught on the subject of compensation strategies to organizations in diverse industries. Cross has served as a regular guest lecturer for the Rice University Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management Executive MBA program on the subject of executive compensation and corporate governance.
Mr. Cross holds a BBA from the University of Houston with specialization in marketing and management. He is a member of WorldatWork, the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, and National Association of Corporate Directors. |
