Mr. Harrison joined National Insurance Partners (“NIP”) as President in 2007. Mr. Harrison has more than 16 years in the property and casualty insurance business, and served in leadership positions with a number of industry organizations. Most recently, Mr. Harrison was President of an operating subsidiary for one of the largest NYSE insurance brokers. Prior to that affiliation, Mr. Harrison was President of one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Central Texas before selling that organization to a publicly traded broker. Mr. Harrison’s primary responsibilities will be to execute the merger and acquisition strategy of NIP and establish an operational platform for the organization, Mr. Harrison holds a general agents, risk management, and managing general agents license and is licensed to do business in approximately 20 states.
After serving the local and state association in a variety of capacities, Mr. Harrison was elected President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas in 2004. In 2006, Mr. Harrison was elected State National Director, representing Texas on the board of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America. In 2000, he was named “Young Agent of the Year” by the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.
Active in his community, Mr. Harrison works with a variety of non profit organizations and Chambers of
Commerce. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Mr. Harrison worked in New York City for a NYSE traded money center bank, managing structured finance transactions.
Mr. Harrison graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in finance. He is married with three daughters. |
