
Mr. Pollock founded National Insurance Partners ("NIP") in 2004 in order to become a leading independent risk management and financial solutions organization. Mr. Pollock has more than 25 years experience as Chairman and CEO of various companies he has formed or acquired.
In 2002, Mr. Pollock began a consulting practice focused on director protection and risk management. He advises directors of corporations, banks, and mutual funds on their current protection and how to improve that protection. Mr. Pollock has written several articles on the subject of director protection and has been a featured National Association of Corporate Director (NACD) panelist. NIP offers a full complement of services and solutions such as director and executive compensation, executive benefits, wealth management, and director protection to assist companies, management, and their directors.
During Mr. Pollock's career, he has practiced law, been general counsel of a large company and has formed, consolidated, acquired and sold several businesses. As Chairman and CEO of all his corporate formations, one of his largest and most successful was Hanover Energy which included the acquisition of United Gas Pipeline, a large interstate gas pipeline which had 1,700 employees and $1.5 billion of assets. He also formed Hanover Compression which began as a consolidation of small compression leasing companies and today is a NYSE traded company.
Mr. Pollock graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa earning a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and received a juris doctorate from the University of Virginia. He also played quarterback on three consecutive Ivy League Championship football teams. Mr. Pollock is a member of the Texas State Bar Association, American Bar Association and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). |
